This week, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is hosting its 53rd Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland in which close to 3,000 elites, business titans, and government leaders will come together to solve all of the world’s problems, especially the “existential threat of climate change,” or so they say.
The theme this year is “Cooperation in a Fragmented World,” aka “Globalism.” In particular, the program will focus on, “a climate crisis spiralling out of control.”
According to the WEF, in order to “solve” the climate crisis, “further action is needed to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate the effects of climate change.”
Okay, so if the WEF truly thinks that we are in the midst of a climate crisis and the number one solution to solving this so-called crisis is a drastic reduction in carbon emissions, then why in the world will the thousands of attendees arrive in Davos via private jets?
As Greenpeace International recently reported, “the rich and powerful flock to Davos in ultra-polluting, socially inequitable private jets to discuss climate and inequality behind closed doors. Davos has a perfectly adequate railway station, still these people can’t even be bothered to take the train for a trip as short as 21 km. Do we really believe that these are the people to solve the problems the world faces?” Amen.
This year, more than 1,500 private jets will escort the “do as I say, not as I do” class to their luxurious lodgings in Davos, where they will drink their expensive wine and eat their filet mignon, all while they push their Great Reset and scold the rest of us to give up our gasoline-powered cars and gas stoves, eat bugs, own nothing, and like it.
The sheer hypocrisy demonstrated by these people, who constantly wail that carbon dioxide emissions are a dire threat to humanity while they fly around the globe on their private jets spewing more carbon dioxide in one trip than most people do in an entire year, is prima facie evidence that they must not actually believe the global warming lies and conspiracies they constantly tout.
