It has been a mere 18 months since Joe Biden and congressional Democrats have ostensibly controlled the federal government. However, during that short span, they have implemented significant segments of their socialist agenda, which is causing massive headaches for the American people.
To date, the Biden administration and congressional Democrats have unleashed a $3.8 trillion spending spree, the likes of which this nation has never experienced before. Inflation is at a 40-year-high. There are more than 11 million unfilled jobs. The supply chain remains a mess. Shortages are the new norm. On and on it goes.
No wonder Americans are “suffering” at an unprecedented rate, according to a new Gallup Poll.
Per the poll, “The percentage of Americans who evaluate their lives poorly enough to be considered ‘suffering’ on Gallup’s Life Evaluation Index was 5.6% in July, the highest since the index’s inception in 2008. This exceeds the previous high of 4.8% measured in April and is statistically higher than all prior estimates in the COVID-19 era.”
In other words, after 18 months of Biden’s socialist policies, more Americans are “suffering” than during the depths of the pandemic, when the economy was shut down, schools were closed, and life came to a standstill.
What’s more, those who identify as “suffering” are not just freedom-loving Republicans; a large amount of Democrats and Independents are feeling the pain of Biden’s Big Government policies.
“Suffering rates have notably climbed in recent months for Democrats, Republicans and independents alike. Since June 2021 — the highest point for the Life Evaluation Index among all Americans — the proportion who are suffering has doubled among Republicans, to 5.4%. Among Democrats, it has also jumped to 5.4% — nearly double the 2.9% from a year ago. And independents were near 5% suffering before a significant increase to 7.3% in April 2022, which eased only slightly to 6.2% in July.”
Consider. If things have gotten this bad this fast under Biden and congressional Democrats, can you imagine how much worse it could become if they cling to power and continue to move forward with their Big Government socialist agenda?
